Across all divisions
Jointline Limited have today been re-accredited by SAFEcontractor, a programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety practise amongst UK contractors.
John Kinge, Head of Risk at SAFEcontractor said, "Major organisations can no longer run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies".
"More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Jointline Limited has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example, which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector".
All divisions gear up for accreditation
Our OHSAS 18001 phase 1 audits took place at the Lincoln depot yesterday and were successful. We have now moved to phase 2, with audits being proposed for January 2012.
170 miles from Morecombe to Bridlington
Jointline staff have taken part in a charity cycle ride in aid of St.Barnabas Hospice. Jeremy Patterson, our accountant and Andrew Gostick, the Red Rose contracts manager, took part in the "Way of the Roses" cycle ride around Lancashire and Yorkshire. Covering the 170 miles from Morecombe to Bridlington, they managed to raise over £1600. Pictures of them in their lycra have been censored!
